Andy Moss and Bill Gordon founded Lean Launch Ventures (LLV) with the mission to create and deliver accelerator programs for entrepreneurs based on the LeanLaunchPadTM methodology developed by Steve Blank and Bob Dorf. We ran a pilot program in the fall of 2012 and a full 90 day accelerator program in the spring of 2013 in partnership with Connecticut Innovations, the venture capital arm of the state of Connecticut. At this time LLV is no longer active in running accelerator programs. We continue to advise the teams from the spring 2013 class 4 of whom are still in business.

Andy Moss  (@andymo)

I started my career as a programmer.  Later I had the opportuntiy to launch and manage a diverse variety of businesses within Microsoft including consulting, development tools, and digital media. Early on at MS I co-authored a software development methodology and built an international network of training centers. After leaving Microsoft, I had the bug to launch my own startup, and have advised and invested in other startups as both an angel and was a limited partner in a large NYC VC fund for many years. Bill Gordon (@weg3)

I received my UC Berkeley PhD working with a giant, Nobel Laureate James Watson, but then pivoted to earn a Wharton MBA after which I worked on the buy side for several asset management firms before founding, managing and later selling my interest in a broadband business in 4 countries of Europe. That adventure helped me fund and run a biotech company where I won a Gates Grand Challenge Exploration Grant for our work on a novel approach to a creating a malaria vaccine. Currently I enjoy being an angel investor and advisor to tech startups. In December 2014 I moved to Portland, Oregon. More on my background can be found by clicking here.
